Comme promis depuis un bail, voilà une liste de groupes méconnus à moyennement connus que j'ai écouté depuis quelques temps. Ca me prenait trop de temps donc j'ai décidé de me limiter à certains styles, ceux qu'écoutent en majorité les gens de ce forum en général.

Bon, suite à la malencontreuse perte de mon fichier "groupes découv'", des centaines de groupes que j'avais relevé se sont envolés en une fraction de seconde. J'ai pas encore totalement fait le deuil mais il fallait bien repartir , donc j'ai recommencé une petite liste même si y a des centaines de trucs qui manquent.
Il manque aussi beaucoup de (bons) groupes dont j'ai déjà un ou plusieurs albums sur mon DD, j'essaierai de les rajouter un de ces 4.

Comme on me l'avait demandé la dernière fois, j'ai commencé à faire une petite sélection donc les noms de groupes précédés d'une astérisque sont ceux que j'ai vraiment apprécié, sachant que parfois ça peut être sur le feeling de l'instant présent, donc peut être dans un moment de faiblesse où j'avais des goûts de chiotte.
Pour le reste, y a du bon et du bien moins bon d'après moi, mais vu que tout le monde n'a pas les mêmes goûts, je me suis dit que ça pourrait intéresser certains.

On m'avait recommandé ce groupe début septembre, je l'avais trouvé très sympa. Après, la popularité de l'indie/folk sur "métalorgie.com/punk" m'a toujours semblée limitée, je ne sais pas s'ils trouveront leur public ici.

Ah au fait, le lien de No Other Way posait des problèmes car en fin de post et plus assez de caractères restants (je l'ai donc déplacé sur le post suivant)... J'attire juste votre attention là dessus au cas où ça vous aurait dissuadé d'écouter le groupe, parce que c'est justement un des groupes qui pourraient le plus plaire (notamment si vous appréciez le punk rock mélo canadien à la District 7, the Johnsons etc). http://www.myspace.com/nootherway

Alors en dehors du Japon y a Play Asia qui ont les 2 albums, Good Old Days et Something Nostalgic Something Precious. @Frank : limitée mais nous avons voulu mettre en avant la richesse de cette scène indépendante folk/rock, ainsi que l'ensemble de ses ramifications. Au final ça a fait son petit effet, prenant de l'ampleur au sein du site tout en coexistant avec les styles piliers; de plus il y a de très bons retours des lecteurs et labels...comme quoi. Et puisque tu parlais d'Okkervil River, j'espère que depuis le temps que tu as posté ce message, tu as posé une et même deux oreilles sur Shearwater.

Je viens de voir qu'ils passaient à la Maroquinerie le 27 (16€) avec John Vanderslice, que j'avais vu en 1ère partie de Death Cab l'an dernier et qui m'avait laissé un bon souvenir: j'aurai un tgv à prendre le lendemain matin, mais qui sait, pour peu que je trouve une jolie fille pour m'y accompagner... héhéhé

Pour en revenir à J. Vanderslice, j'ai beaucoup apprécié en concert et je retournerais le voir avec plaisir, mais ça manque un chouïa de peps pour que j'achète et que j'écoute chez moi.
J'avais déjà téléchargé "Exodus Damage" qui est sans doute une des meilleures chansons parmi celles que proposent en téléchargement libre son site officiel ou Barsuk.

Death Cab étaient très, très bons, la qualité était impeccable.

Quant à la liste, à vrai dire, pas vraiment eu le temps de la parcourir sinon des yeux, hélas : je commençais les cours le lendemain du jour où No Fun l'a postée, donc j'ai un peu zappé (sorry ! ) – et se remettre à bosser 8h par jour après un an de "glandouille" en doctorat, tu le sens passer.

C'est dommage d'autant plus qu'elle s'occupe davantage du rock en général que du metal.

Bon ben je viens de découvrir Cenk, un groupe de ska-punk celtique suisse probablement connu de pas mal ici (qu'en sais-je?..)

Bon le titre et la pochette de l'album vous donnent une indication sur l'état d'esprit des bonhommes je crois hein? ^^
Les chansons en écoute sur leur Myspace tiennent du gros trip. C'est clairement pas le groupe du siècle mais ça passe facile, surtout pour les gens en manque de soleil ou ayant de la bière et des potes à proximité.
